Trucks laden with building material for government housing projects left Bahrain’s only stone quarry after it reopened yesterday (August 16). The Hafeera stone quarry was reopened by order of the Cabinet in June, when the Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Ministry was directed to manage, run and operate the site, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
