The centrally-located supermarket complex at Remraam, which is to also feature a pharmacy, dry cleaner, a coffee shop and a salon, is part of an ongoing expansion of community retail and illustrates DP’s commitment to provide holistic services and amenities for residents in its residential communities, said a senior official.

"Facilities that serve the widest needs of the residents in our communities are a central part of the design of our developments," remarked Abdulla Abushabieb, the executive director, the sales and customer care at Dubai Properties.

"Our partnership with Géant is a clear example of how we seek to partner with the region’s leading retailers to create high quality amenities for our tenants," he added.

Mark Anthony Lack, the chief operating officer, said: "We are delighted to announce the opening of our latest Géant Easy community store at Remraam. We have managed to fulfil the daily shopping needs of customers with a bakery, fruits and vegetables, meat, fish and delicatessen service counters along with our usual assortment of grocery, beverages, health and beauty and household products."

It was developed to meet the needs of individuals and families looking for community living in quiet surroundings with close access to Dubai, said Lack.

The development is tailored for residents with active lifestyles, featuring community swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, barbecu areas, walkways and children’s outdoor play areas, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
