TKI to design interiors for Soulfull outlet
Dubai, June 15, 2014
Thomas Klein International (TKI), a leading hospitality consultant in the region, has been appointed to audit the current Soulfull brand, and to design the interiors and the kitchen technical specification for the new restaurant located in The Emirates Financial Towers, DIFC.
The new restaurant will be the second Soulfull outlet in the UAE, and is due to open after Ramadan. The first outlet is located in Abu Dhabi, across from the Mubadala head office.
“The design of the new Soulfull outlet in Dubai is inspired by the core values of the company: fresh, healthy and creative,” explains Daniel During, principal and managing director of Thomas Klein International.
“Natural and raw materials such as wood, marble and concrete have been used through the design, and different shades of green have been used for the upholstery, wall paint and graphics to create a natural and fresh feel.”
The wall behind the counter displays the branding via wall-covering graphics, whilst the main wall, fronting the entrance, becomes the focus point of the space exhibiting an art installation designed by architects Paula Palombo and Eric Schall. The one-of-a-kind installation is made of several thousand wooden batons extending off the wall, portraying a three-dimensional visual interpretation of an artichoke.
“Our artichoke installation has also inspired the new logo, and all the new brand applications will now all follow the artichoke image, thereby reflecting the core values of Soulfull: nutritious, vitamin-filled, fresh, and health-promoting food,” said During.
“We are really looking forward to unveiling the new design, as we believe it will bring something totally novel to Dubai in terms of brand DNA interpretation and application in design,” added During.
Soulfull is a locally grown concept and offers diners a choice of fresh and healthy food. The offer includes a full menu from breakfast, through salads, sandwiches and mains, all focusing on balancing nutritional value and wellness with flavour. Only the freshest organic produce from all over the world are used in all the dishes, and any excess food not used on a daily basis is donated to charity, so nothing goes to waste.
Thomas Klein International has been operating in the region since 2001, and provides professional consultancy services specialising in the hospitality, entertainment and leisure sectors, with a strong emphasis on food and beverage operations. - TradeArabia News Service
