Rubber World offers new products for HVAC
Dubai, December 21, 2011
UAE-based Rubber World Industries has announced the launch of 50 new trading products for the region’s heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) industry.
The new line of products will be widely distributed all over the GCC, said RWI, a leading manufacturer of closed-cell rubber insulation 'Gulf-O-Flex' in the region.
'The vibrancy of the UAE’s construction segment is expected to help spark growth of over $178.6 million for the country’s rooftop air conditioning segment by 2014,' said a senior company official citing a recent report on the UAE’s HVAC industry.
“We are seeing a demand for more rooftop air conditioning units in the UAE over the next few years, prompted by key factors like continuous influx of construction projects and country’s warm climate,” said Rizwan Shaikhani, managing director of RWI, Ajman.
'The report predicts that the rooftop air conditioning market will grow to $57.8 million in 2012, $59.5 million in 2013 and $61.3 million in 2014, reflecting a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 1.98 per cent over the next four years,' he stated.
Eyeing a key role in the HVAC sector growth, the company also launched its new and improved products including slitting tubes, slitting tubes with adhesives, cladding tubes, cladding sheets and sheets with aluminium.
Shaikhani said as part of its expansion strategy, RWI will be opening new offices in the UAE, Oman, Pakistan, South Africa, India and Houston.
The new product launch, he said, reflects RWI’s move to leverage its products across a target audience of MEP contractors, HVAC specialists, AC spare-parts dealers, representatives from the Oil & Gas fields and the construction industry.
“The move not only demonstrates our commitment to provide high quality durable and cost efficient rubber products and highly reliable services to our growing customer base but also shows our move to consolidate our leadership in the region,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
