Tanmiyat eyes global emerging property markets

Dubai, November 10, 2009

In an effort to broaden its investment portfolio and seek new investment opportunities around the world, Tanmiyat was the gold sponsor for the Second International Conference on Foreign Investments in Tirana, Albania, recently.

The conference welcomed regionally as well as internationally acclaimed delegations and gave the developer access to a wider investor base and the ability to interact with international development companies operating abroad to share examples of best practise and explore partnership opportunities.

“We are always looking for opportunities to take our brand outside of the geographic area where we are best known. It reinvigorates our thinking and opens us up to opportunities that we might otherwise have never explored,” said Sheikh Sulyman Al Majed, chairman of Tanmiyat.

“Albania is an exciting market, and there is much to be gained from our presence there. As a rapidly developing country and a Nato member state on its way to becoming a member of the EU, the country faces many of the same challenges and has many of the same opportunities as we have in the Gulf,” he continued.

“The conference managed to gather an unprecedented number of qualified investors from the Middle East and other countries to explore investment opportunities in Albania,” added Manuel Parra, the CEO of CorpStation and strategic event manager for the conference.

The International Conference on Foreign Investments is a stepping stone for Albania’s growth as it allows international minds to meet to discuss the foreign investment climate, opportunities in infrastructure, energy, transport, and real estate, and how to develop and support the country’s investment projects.-TradeArabia News Service
