Marina West names Beaucraft as adviser
Manama, June 28, 2009
Marina West has appointed leisure marina advisory firm Beaucraft to conceptually design and oversee the tendering and installation works on the marina element of the project.
The marina element of Marina West will cover an area over 60,000 sq ft. It has a capacity of 90 berths, capable of handling all types of leisure boats and yachts and will be fully equipped to service the vessels docked in it.
The marina element of the project is expected to cost around $1.5 million to develop, said a top company official.
'We are very pleased that the leading Bahraini leisure marina advisory firm is joining our project,' Marina West chief executive Mahmood Janahi said.
'The marina area is considered one of the cornerstone elements of the Marina West project and as such is getting a lot of attention from us.
'We are confident that Beaucraft is capable of delivering the envisioned marina area starting from the specialised designs to overseeing the tendering and installation works through to completion and we wanted nothing but the best services for Marina West owners.'
Beaucraft was established in the kingdom at the beginning of this year to fill a gap in the availability of leisure marine services by providing various services in the field of marine entertainment such as design, development, management and operations of marinas, as well as the maintenance, importation, sales, brokerage and financing of boats and yachts.
'We would like to express our gratification for being selected by a project that is considered to be one of the leading Beachfront developments in the kingdom of Bahrain,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
