Hydra launches twin towers

Dubai, July 8, 2008

Hydra Properties has announced the official launch of its iconic Hydra Twin Towers project at Jumeirah Village, Dubai.

The project has two 32-storey towers - one exclusively residential and the other for luxurious hotel apartments.

They will lord over Meadows and Emirates Hills on one side and Jumeirah Golf Estates on the other.

The project is expected to be complete by early 2010. Al Hatem Contracting Corporation is handling the construction while Architects and Planning Group (APG) is the engineering consultant.

The project will include spacious car parks, shops, spas, gyms, and luxury cafés and restaurants.

The Twin Towers will form an exclusive community designed for luxurious living, in tranquility and comfort.

The project is designed to feature a community centre, gardens, promenades, parks and sports pitches, scenic cycling and jogging trails, schools, clinics, private gardens and an assortment of other exclusive lifestyle facilities, the developer said.

Hydra Properties has raised projects across the continents, stretching from Hydra Waves in Mexico to Al Aqeeq Marina in Kuwait. Hydra Properties’ major ventures in the UAE include Hydra Village Abu Dhabi, Hydra Avenue Towers, Hydra 55, Marina Spirit, Abu Dhabi Golf Walk, Hydra Corporate Towers, Hydra Heights, Hydra Downtown Towers Dubai, Hydra Towers Business Bay Dubai and Hydra Twin Towers, Jumeirah Village, Dubai.

“This is a moment of immense pride and joy for us at Hydra Properties,” said chief executive officer Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim.

Dr. Al Fahim added: “All hallmarks of the Hydra Properties will be again evident at the Twin Towers, underlining our commitment to quality and sustainable development in a region that calls for a careful handling of the environment.”

Hydra Properties has set the ball rolling by initiating work on excavation and piling for the two basement floors of the project, construction manager Mahmoud Saad added.

“We have a trained workforce, who is keen to deliver the goods on time. The initial phase of the project will be completed in the next six months. The piling work for overall structure will commence soon after that.” – Trade Arabia News Service
