Edara bags new project

Dubai, December 11, 2007

Edara has been awarded the project management of Oman Insurance Plaza & Residential Towers in Dubai.

The project, to be constructed in the Mankool area of Dubai, will comprise two 25-storey towers with a total built up area exceeding 92,000 square metres, the project management company said in a statement.

Edara’s portfolio includes some of the biggest and most innovative developments in the region, and their experience and involvement in projects of a diverse nature will hold them in good stead for the management of this new development.

The dual-purpose Oman Insurance Plaza and Residential Towers will require managing different sectors for these buildings that may include residential, hotel or serviced apartments and office needs, and Edara’s project management radar will cover the entire gamut.

In order to ensure that they have all bases covered and nothing is left to chance, Edara has established FITOUT, a dedicated team to specifically manage Fitting Out and Refurbishment Projects.

“We are extremely pleased to be appointed project managers for Oman Insurance Company. Managing prestigious projects in Dubai and the UAE is our contribution towards building and shaping the country and we are sure this new project will give us another opportunity to add to that and build a long and fruitful relationship with our new client,” said Edara’s General Manager Phill Edmondson.

The planned completion of the Oman Insurance Plaza and Residential Towers is mid 2010 with design commencing this December. – TradeArabia News Service
