Inovest names Murad Al Ramadan as CEO

MANAMA, January 11, 2016

Inovest, a company listed on both the Bahrain and Kuwait stock exchanges, has announced the appointment of Murad Al Ramadan as the company’s new chief executive officer.

Initially joining the group in 2009 as deputy CEO- head of investment of the company’s real estate development arm Tameer, Al Ramadan later moved to Inovest as its chief investment officer.

Al Ramadan brings to the table over 17 years of experience in investments, asset management and real estate.  He has experience in deal sourcing, developing new business opportunities, structuring, placement and in successful investment exits.  

Khaled AlSanousi, chairman of Inovest’s board of directors, said: "The appointment of Murad Al Ramadan as CEO of Inovest is a manifestation of our belief in the team within Inovest, and in retaining talent that we are confident can take on the challenge of implementing the board’s ambitious strategy for the company, which God willing we expect will bring Inovest into a new era of profitability and growth.”
    
AlSanousi also noted: “The investment climate and financial industry in general are facing a challenging time due to economic and political developments within the region; such factors press upon the board the necessity of going the extra mile in our risk management strategy across the organisation.”
