Business plan to help needy in Bahrain

A charitable society wants to turn a block in Jaw into a commercial venture and use the rent money to help 14 underprivileged Bahraini families in the area. The Jaw Charity Fund approached the Southern Municipal Council yesterday asking for support to offer a plot of land to investors, after which rent from shops or apartment buildings could be used for charity, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
