RSA, a provider of insurance services in the region, has appointed Adrian Pinto as the country manager for its Bahrain opeations with immediate effect.

He will be reporting to the company’s Bahrain managing director and UAE chief executive Chris Dooley, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Pinto will oversee RSA’s operations in the country and will primarily be responsible for ensuring ongoing growth in market share, in addition to keeping the business in line with RSA Group’s regional strategic focus.

He will also be in charge of managing and strengthening RSA’s relationships with key brokers and client partners, as well as the regulators.

Dooley said Adrian brings with him years of expertise in the insurance industry and a deep understanding of the local market in Bahrain.

Joining RSA following a 15-year stint at Fakhro Insurance Services in Bahrain where he was the general manager, Pinto has nearly 40 years of experience in the insurance industry.

In this time, he has overseen a number of personal and business insurance lines, in addition to leading large teams through a highly competitive market.

He is also actively involved with the Bahrain Insurance Association as a member of the board. - TradeArabia News Service
