Bahrain National Life Assurance (bnl), a subsidiary of Bahrain National Holding (BNH), has appointed Sahar Al Ajjawi as its new acting general manager.

Al Ajjawi has been promoted into the role after serving nearly three years within bnl and held the position of assistant general manager. She has worked in medical and life insurance since 1997, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Prior to joining bnl, Al Ajjawi held a few significant leadership positions including senior manager life and medical at Al Ahlia Insurance and deputy manager medical at Arab Insurance Group. She holds an MBA from Bahrain University and ACII from the chartered Insurance Institute.

“We are delighted Al Ajjawi is taking on this role,” BNH chief executive Sameer Al Wazzan said.
