Bahrain-based Gulf Finance House (GFH) has announced its lead sponsorship as the Islamic banking partner of a major financial forum being organised by Euromoney in Bahrain.

GFH will support the fourth GCC Financial Forum, which is also backed by the Economic Development Board (EDB) and scheduled to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Transportation Minister and EDB acting chief executive Kamal Ahmed will inaugurate the forum, where a number of leading international experts in the region will meet to discuss the global economic outlook and its impact on regional markets and investment decisions of sovereign funds and ways of developing it.

Other highlights of the 2015 conference will include a special 'town-hall' discussion with Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) Governor Rasheed Al Maraj.

GFH will be represented at the event by a delegation of its senior management team headed by chairman, Dr Ahmed Al Mutawa and chief executive Hisham Al Rayes, highlighting GFH's ongoing commitment to supporting the industry's growth.

Following a speech by Al Maraj during the first day of the conference, GFH chairman Dr Al Mutawa will be interviewed during a high-level keynote session.

The bank will also take part as an exhibitor with a team of its regional relationship managers available to present the bank's regional and international investment opportunities and projects to investors and potential partners.

The '2015 Euromoney GCC Financial Forum' will attract a high-level international audience, including financial institutions, policy makers, regulators and business people from the region.

GFH is one of the most recognised financial groups in the Gulf and focuses on asset management, wealth management, commercial banking and real estate development.
