FinMark backs Islamic banking conference in Bahrain

FinMark Communications has been appointed as the communications partner for the 21st annual edition of the World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC 2014) in Bahrain.
More than 1,300 high-level industry officials from nearly 50 countries are expected to take part in the event being held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and supported by the Central Bank of Bahrain, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
The event, which is scheduled to be held at the Gulf Hotel from December 1 to 3, is supported by top Islamic financial institutions as sponsors and other strategic partners involved in the development and promotion of the Islamic banking and finance industry.
FinMark Communications, based in London and Bahrain, has long been involved in the WIBC and is the communications advisor to a large number of Islamic financial institutions in the GCC, Europe and Malaysia.
Working with WIBC, FinMark will be responsible for managing the event's communications and outreach efforts in the run up to and during the three-day summit.
