Bahrain steps up Malaysian trade ties

Bahrain is looking forward to stepping up trade and economic ties with Malaysia by exchanging products and opening up major new horizons of bilateral co-operation, the Premier said.

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa affirmed that the two countries' agreements, expertise and companies can achieve an effective joint trade partnership, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

This came as he received at Gudaibiya Palace Malaysian Ambassador Ahmed Shahzan Abdul Samad accompanied by Malaysian businessmen.

The Premier praised the advanced level of Bahraini-Malaysian relations, stressing the kingdom's keenness to bolster them further.

He expressed satisfaction over the steady growth of bilateral co-operation and the two countries' shared desire to constantly enhance it.

The Malaysian Ambassador lauded the investment atmosphere provided by the government, noting that it will motivate the private sector in both countries to increase co-operation. - TradeArabia News Service
