Shein, the global online fashion and lifestyle retailer, has announced a new suite of localised services for Middle Eastern sellers on the Shein Marketplace.

This creates a more integrated and efficient platform for brands and retailers wanting to grow their businesses online.

Shein's Middle East Marketplace went live in January of this year, enabling brands to list their products, scale their brands and reach millions of customers across the region, with more than 600 sellers now signed up.

New partnerships

To enhance its growing seller ecosystem, Shein has launched new partnerships with Unicommerce and Increff, providing regional sellers with the operational infrastructure required to scale seamlessly and address distinct backend operational and multi-channel distribution requirements.

Unicommerce provides technology that helps online sellers manage orders, automate warehouse tasks and keep stock levels updated. Its Video Management System also records packing and returns, helping provide an improved service and in turn enhancing consumer trust.

"As ecommerce accelerates across the Middle East, brands require robust technology that eliminates operational friction," said Kapil Makhija, MD & Chief Executive Officer at Unicommerce. "Our integration with Shein Marketplace provides regional retailers with a unified automated architecture to govern orders, warehouse logistics, and fulfilment. This enables brands to onboard quickly, operate with high efficiency, and deliver a superior, reliable customer experience from day one."

Increff, meanwhile, specialises in technology that helps retailers manage their stock and supply chains. It updates stock levels across sales channels almost instantly, helping sellers manage different products and improve local fulfilment.

Fashion and lifestyle sellers

"Our partnership with Shein in the Middle East is focused on helping fashion and lifestyle sellers scale marketplace commerce with greater inventory accuracy, faster stock synchronisation, and stronger fulfilment reliability," said Kanika Bhalla, Chief Revenue Officer at Increff. "As the GCC continues to emerge as a global hotspot for digital commerce, operational efficiency and automated supply chains will be the utimate differentiators for successful brands."

“We’re proud to see more than 600 sellers active on our Shein Middle East Marketplace in the 10 months since we launched in the region, as we continue to offer customers a range of brands and products, all at affordable prices," said Paula Perez, Shein’s Middle East Expansion Director.

"By enhancing the seller experience and strengthening integrations with local partners, we’ve made it easier for brands and retailers to scale their operations and connect with Shein’s customer base, while they maintain full control over their brand and assortment. We look forward to welcoming and supporting even more Middle Eastern businesses on Shein Marketplace as we continue to invest in what is a key region for Shein." –TradeArabia News Service
