Rosewood Abu Dhabi has partnered with Microchipped.ae to host the Rescue Run Adoption Event, helping eight rescued cats find permanent homes and generating four additional adoption enquiries.

The event brought together animal welfare advocates, volunteers, prospective adopters and community members to promote responsible pet ownership and raise awareness of animal rescue efforts across the UAE.

Held at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, the event featured a Rescue Runway, where rescued cats were introduced to potential adopters in a welcoming environment.

The cats had been rescued, rehabilitated and cared for by volunteers before being presented to prospective families.

By the end of the event, eight cats had been adopted, while four additional enquiries raised the possibility of further adoptions.

The initiative also provided an opportunity for guests to learn about the challenges facing animal welfare organisations and the role individuals can play in supporting rescue efforts.

Through direct engagement with rescuers and advocates, attendees gained insights into responsible adoption and pet care.
