Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has granted US-based Delta Air Lines a Foreign Air Operator Authorization, paving the way for scheduled direct flights between Atlanta and Riyadh.
The approval, issued under Part 129 of Saudi aviation safety
regulations, supports the Kingdom’s efforts to expand international air
connectivity and attract global carriers to its aviation market.
GACA said the move will strengthen links with international
destinations, enhance competition in the aviation sector and support tourism,
business and investment activity.
The initiative aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision
2030 and the Kingdom’s Aviation Programme. -TradeArabia News Service
