Air Arabia expands Germany network with Frankfurt from Dec 15

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest budget carrier operator, today announced the launch of its new daily non-stop service between Sharjah and Frankfurt, strengthening air connectivity between the UAE and Germany.

This route makes the airline’s second destination in the country after Munich.

Starting December 15, 2026, the new daily service will connect Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) and Frankfurt Airport (FRA) further expanding Air Arabia’s growing European network while offering customers convenient and affordable travel to one of Germany’s leading commercial, financial and tourism hubs, the airline said.

The new route will be operated by Air Arabia’s Airbus A320neo, offering customers a modern and comfortable cabin experience while delivering greater operational efficiency and improved fuel performance.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia, said: “Frankfurt marks another important milestone in Air Arabia’s continued expansion across Europe and further enhances connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Germany. The carrier continues to expand its European network from Sharjah, connecting its customers to key destinations including Milan Bergamo, Munich, Vienna, Athens, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, London Gatwick, and Rome. The new Frankfurt service will further strengthen these connections, offering travelers from Germany convenient direct access to Sharjah and the wider UAE, as well as onward connectivity across Air Arabia’s expanding network.
