Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya Investment Company has announced PlayPath, a new mid-career recruitment and development initiative designed to attract, develop, and accelerate Saudi engineering talent supporting the delivery of Qiddiya City.

The initiative seeks to recruit Saudi engineers into Manager-level positions spanning several key disciplines, said a Saudi Press Agency report.

PlayPath responds to the growing need for experienced Saudi engineering professionals with the skills and capabilities required to support the development and delivery of Qiddiya City’s current and future projects. The initiative complements Qiddiya Investment Company’s existing early career programs by focusing specifically on qualified Saudi professionals with relevant industry experience and the potential to become future leaders.

Participants will join Qiddiya Investment Company in roles with real responsibility and accountability and undertake a structured development pathway. The initiative will combine on-the-job experience, assignments, learning, leadership development and mentoring. Subject to individual performance and readiness, participants may progress toward senior manager roles.

The initiative will be open to applicants who are Saudi nationals, hold a recognized engineering degree and possess relevant professional experience.

Participants will be supported by experienced line managers and mentors to facilitate knowledge transfer, career guidance and development.
