Acciona Cultura has completed the new Hafawa Lounge for Riyadh Air at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, marking a milestone in the launch of Saudi Arabia’s new national airline.

Covering 2,000 sq m and accommodating up to 370 guests, the premium lounge combines advanced technology, high-end materials and Saudi-inspired design to enhance the passenger experience.

Designed by award-winning studio Yabu Pushelberg, the project saw Acciona Cultura oversee technical design, project management and the delivery of interior architectural and technical works on an accelerated schedule.

The lounge has been designed to meet LEED Gold certification requirements, reflecting a focus on energy efficiency, environmental performance and passenger wellbeing.

Backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), Riyadh Air aims to redefine premium air travel as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy, with the Hafawa Lounge showcasing Acciona Cultura’s expertise in delivering complex, technology-driven hospitality environments. -TradeArabia News Service
