Dubai's Museum of the Future has announced that the museum will close in mid-September for work on the next generation of experiences. It is expected to reopen with new experiences in the first quarter of 2027.

Dubai Media office said on X: "The Museum of the Future announces the beginning of a new phase in its journey, launching work on a new generation of future experiences inspired by ideas and suggestions shared by individuals from around the world. 

"Visitors will continue to enjoy the museum’s current exhibitions until mid-September 2026, after which work will begin on the next generation of experiences, set to be unveiled in the first quarter of 2027 to mark the fifth anniversary of the museum’s opening.
