Heurtey Petrochem Solutions, an Axens brand, has been selected by Transition Industries to supply its Electrical Tubular Furnace technology for the Pacífico Mexinol project in Sinaloa, Mexico.

The large-scale ultra-low-carbon methanol facility is expected to produce around 6,130 metric tonnes of methanol per day when it begins operations in 2030.

The project aims to support sustainable methanol production through advanced technologies, carbon capture, responsible water management and low-carbon processes.

Heurtey’s proprietary efurnace technology will replace traditional fired heating with electrical resistance-based heat generation, enabling efficient and lower-emission industrial operations. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
