Saudi Arabia's Eastern Region Municipality has inaugurated Al-Khobar Terrace, a landmark waterfront development project, which aims to enhance Al-Khobar’s position as a leading tourism and entertainment destination.

The Al-Khobar Terrace includes more than 20 entertainment components, featuring designated fitness areas, sports fields, and an outdoor skating plaza, as well as walking and cycling paths, providing an integrated environment for sports and recreational activities, said a Saudi Press Agency report.

The project comprises an interactive plaza, green spaces, and seating areas with direct sea views, alongside an interactive musical fountain spanning 400 sq m, dedicated spots for souvenir photos, and aesthetic installations that enhance the site’s visual identity.

 Al-Khobar Terrace offers modern services, including electric vehicle charging stations and a telescopic viewing device installed for the first time in Eastern Region, giving visitors a unique experience to enjoy the seafront scenery.

 The project has been carefully designed to provide diverse experiences for various groups, as part of ongoing efforts to reinforce Al-Khobar’s position as one of the world’s best cities for living and working, through development projects that enhance tourism appeal and elevate the urban landscape, the report said.
