EgyptAir gradually resumes flights to UAE after regional tensions

EgyptAir has announced the gradual resumption of some flights to the UAE starting March 9.

The airline will operate two daily flights to Dubai and one to Sharjah, following recent developments in the region.

Beginning Tuesday, March 10, EgyptAir will also run one daily flight to Abu Dhabi, in coordination with the relevant authorities at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Last week, the airline suspended flights from Cairo to 13 cities across the Middle East until further notice amid escalating regional tensions.

The disruption followed Iranian strikes on US military bases across the Gulf, including in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE.

The attacks reportedly caused damage and injuries at Dubai International Airport and Kuwait International Airport. -TradeArabia News Service
