The Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) has announced the promotion of two Bahraini professionals, Fatema AlWardi as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Fatema Al Zayed Al Jalahma as Chief Registrar (CR). 

These appointments underscore BCDR’s commitment to empowering Bahraini talent and strengthening its institutional framework, advancing both strategic goals and operational capacity, a statement said.

The appointments not only expand BCDR’s leadership team but also underline a deep dedication to cultivating Bahraini expertise. The Chamber boasts a core team led by two Chief Registrars, supported by a bilingual legal case management staff fluent in Arabic and English. These professionals take part in continuous development programs to ensure the highest standards of service in arbitration and mediation.

Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, stated: “We take great pride in seeing our Bahraini women colleagues assume leadership roles, reflecting the chamber’s commitment to empowering national talent and advancing gender diversity in leadership. Professor Marike Patrani Paulsson, Vice Chairperson of the BCDR Board of Trustees, stated: “For both of them, this is just the beginning. I look forward to their leadership.” Tom Sikora, member of the BCDR Board of Trustees, added on behalf of the remaining Trustees, we are very excited about the promotion of Ms Al Zayed Al Jalahma to the position of Chief Registrar and Mrs Al Wardi to the position of Chief Operations Officer.
