Hala (Dubai Taxi) has set up a campaign that gives riders the chance to win AED3,000 ($816) if a Hala captain takes longer than 3 minutes to reach the pick-up location in a move to  debunk the perception that street hailing is faster than e-hailing.

The ‘3 minute arrival time’ campaign aims to spread awareness of Hala Captains' efficiency - utilising technology to be able to accurately predict areas of high demand, and automatically direct Captains to these areas, Hala is confident in their ability to reach anyone in Dubai within 3 minutes.

If a customer waits for more than three minutes for the taxi to arrive, they automatically enter a raffle draw to win AED3,000 in Careem credit. One winner is announced on social media (Instagram) every three days. – TradeArabia News Service
