New Aloft-branded resort to open in Dubai
DUBAI, March 3, 2016
The Aloft brand of hotels will soon make its way to Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah following the signing of an agreement between leading hospitality group Starwood Hotels and Resorts with Dubai businessman Rashid Al Abbar, said a report.
Set to open in 2017, the Aloft Dubai, The Palm will be the first mid-market hotel brand on the island, said a report in Gulf Business.
The resort will offer guests 192 stylish rooms, including 10 suites and complete access to a 500-m stretch of beach with sun beds and a gazebo.
The hotel will also feature SPG Keyless — that enables guests to use their smartphone or Apple watch as a room key, it said.
The Aloft Dubai, The Palm will offer the brand’s signature W XYZ Bar, a 24-hour eatery re:fuel by Aloft, an all-day dining outlet and a speciality restaurant.
Other amenities include a fitness centre, an outdoor splash pool, four meeting rooms and free wi-fi throughout the property.
Aloft Dubai, The Palm will be the third hotel on Palm Jumeirah that will be managed by Starwood, joining the W and St. Regis hotels which are scheduled to open in 2017 and 2018 respectively, it said.
