Wego, a leading travel app and online marketplace in the Middle East and North Africa, has revealed Ramadan 2025 travel trends for UAE residents.
The analysis revealed a 32.45% YoY increase in international flight searches from the UAE, with Egypt, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Philippines, Lebanon, Morocco, and Nepal being the most searched destinations.
All 10 destinations recorded healthy search growth this year, with Nepal and Pakistan outperforming last year's numbers.
Rising airfares to 9 out of 10 popular Ramadan destinations on Wego saw an increase in YoY flight prices, with Egypt and Lebanon experiencing the steepest hikes.
Jordan saw a marginal 1.17% price drop compared to 2024. Wego experts warn that prices may escalate further as Eid al-Fitr approaches.
UAE travellers tend to plan ahead for Ramadan trips, with most flights booked over a month in advance, a trend expected to repeat in 2025.
