Dubai Municipality has joined the Digital Twin Consortium n a move aimed at strengthening international knowledge exchange around the application of digital twin technologies and geospatial data across areas including urban planning, infrastructure, sustainable urban development and asset management.
The UAE continues to consolidate its advanced model for building smart cities, underpinned by wide-ranging strategic investments, most notably in data centres, which form the operational backbone of smart urban systems and knowledge-based digital economy, said an industry expert.
