Salalah Airport received the first Etihad Airways flight arriving from the UAE, marking the commencement of its seasonal flights to Dhofar Governorate during the Khareef Dhofar 2026 season, with two weekly flights operating between Salalah Airport and Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) celebrated the 7th anniversary of Muscat International Airport and the 10th of Salalah Airport. Muscat's passenger traffic rose to 1.06 million in October 2025, a 12% increase, while Salalah saw a 15% increase to over 104,000 passengers.
