The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (Raktda) has announced the return of the fourth edition of Highlander Adventure (February 7-9, 2025) organised by Highlander, one of the world’s largest international hiking associations, a report said.

This premier long-distance hiking challenge will allow hikers and adventure enthusiasts to explore the breathtaking trails of Jebel Jais, home to the UAE’s longest-developed network of hiking trails, spanning 80 km, Emirates News Agency, WAM, said.

What sets this challenge apart is the unique opportunity to hike through historical and cultural landscapes, discovering old Emirati settlements and active farms that showcase the rich history and diversity of Ras Al Khaimah.

Fadi Hachicho, Managing Director of Highlander Adventure UAE and Founder of Adventurati Outdoor, said: “The 4th edition of Highlander Adventure reaffirms our region’s appeal for adventure travel and sports enthusiasts.
