Ajman ... ADTD and READ deal to boost social responsibility in the tourism sector

Ajman Tourism, READ to support research initiatives

The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) signed a memorandum of understanding with R Education & Academic Development (READ) to exchange experiences, support research efforts, and contribute to improving the performance of the education and tourism sectors in Ajman.

The memorandum of understanding was signed between Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, and Imran Khan, President of R Education & Academic Development (READ), the educational subsidiary of R Holding, a multifaceted business group based in UAE.

The agreement aims to provide support and assistance in the field of research, studies and surveys carried out by ADTD and READ, with the latter offering scholarships and discounts.

The agreement will also see support social responsibility initiatives in the tourism sector including community support, activities, events and workshops.

Khaleel Alhashmi said: “Signing the agreement with R Education & Academic Development (READ) comes in line with the department’s efforts to enhance joint cooperation and establish fruitful partnerships with leading academic bodies that aim to create a significant transformative impact by providing the highest levels of excellence in education, research and innovation.”

Khan said: “We are honoured to cooperate with Ajman Department of Tourism Development to consolidate the position of the emirate, and highlight its advanced academic specialisations and programs which meet the needs of the labour market and support the community.
