Modesh World marks 25th year with summer attractions

Top entertainment fair returns to Dubai, bigger and bolder

Modesh World, one of the region’s largest indoor entertainment and amusement facilities, said it is opening the doors to one of its biggest and most exciting seasons as it celebrates its milestone 25th anniversary from June 21 to August 18.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), one of the city’s favourite summertime attractions, is returning to Dubai World Trade Centre Halls 3-8 with a programme of transformative edutainment and immersive experiences from 10am-10pm on Mondays to Thursdays, and from 10am-12am on Fridays to Sundays.

This summer, there are more ways than ever to celebrate unforgettable moments and create treasured memories with Dubai’s beloved character Modesh and his friend Dana, a statement said.

It features new attractions to a jam-packed calendar of live shows, rides, informative workshops, and more.

Specially curated experiences will be themed around Modesh and Dana’s adventures throughout all seasons of the year.

The free-to-enter destination is set to welcome hundreds of thousands of families and young visitors for its landmark 25th edition this year.

Coming back even bigger and better than before, Modesh World 2024 has over 170 attractions spread over an astounding 22,000 sqm this year.

Over the last 25 years, Modesh World has continued to bring joy and delight to the city, with new attractions, entertainment, and themed zones giving guests exciting reasons to visit again and again.

Renowned kid-fluencer @shfa_family will also join the celebrations on 29 June with a special meet-and-greet event.

Adding to the excitement of the anniversary celebrations are several new additions to Modesh World this year. A key highlight is the Inflatable Park, bringing nine new attractions for different age groups, with entry packages based on hourly rates.

Gaming and Entertainment

Creating a realm where all members of the family – both young and old – can enjoy fun, games, and entertainment, Modesh World is bringing back its ever-popular elements.

Young guests can enjoy more than 100 arcade games and VR experiences in a holistic gaming experience, while an array of fun and interactive workshops will feature all types of arts and crafts activities for visitors.

Marking their return will be thrilling rides, soft play areas, inflatable slides, as well as skilled games like basketball, kick the bucket, ring toss, tic tac toe, and many more.

A brand-new edition of the Animals World Play Area will take children on a more immersive and colourful experience within a zoo themed track. Plus, visitors can count on Modesh World for live shows, with singing, dancing, and colourful performances every day until August 18.

What’s more, Modesh and Dana are partnering with leading entities across Dubai to highlight important community issues in a fun and entertaining programme.

Collaborations with Dubai Police, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and Ministry of Community Development will explore crucial topics such as first aid, healthy habits, fire safety, sustainability, recycling, and much more.

Culinary Experiences

With over 20 gastronomy options at Modesh World, there are plenty of options for everyone. Plus, visitors can dine with Modesh and Dana in a one-of-a-kind experience at the Modesh Café and take their pick from waffles, salads, crepes, and cupcakes.

The café also offers customised cakes and pops for special celebrations, as well as Modesh and Dana’s favourite cold treats ranging from ice creams, mocktails, juices and slushies.

How to Get There

Getting to Modesh World is simple and stress-free. The city’s public transport system is both a safe and cost-effective way to reach Modesh World from key locations around the city – be it via Dubai Metro, several bus routes, or easily available taxis.

For those who prefer to drive themselves to Dubai World Trade Centre, ample parking is available across six paid car parks and two free car parks with a total of 7,530 spaces, as well as onsite valet services. Parking bays for electric cars are also available with charging stations.
