VFS Global, the world’s largest outsourcing services specialist for diplomatic missions worldwide, has opened a new Joint Visa Application Centre in Baghdad, Iraq, offering enhanced convenience to the residents of the country.

In a statement, VFS Global said the new centre in Baghdad offers visa application services for Belgium and Ukraine with plans to add visa application submission services to more countries over the coming months.

The new Joint Visa Application Centre, which has ample space to accommodate the rising number of visa applicants in Iraq, was officially inaugurated by Mr. Oleg Berezin, Consul General to the Embassy of Ukraine in Iraq.

Baghdad is the second city after Erbil in Iraq where VFS Global currently provides visa application processing services. In Erbil, VFS Global currently facilitates visa processing services for 10 countries – Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine.
