Emirates offers special fares for Thanksgiving and Diwali

DUBAI, October 16, 2018

Emirates is offering UAE residents a chance to travel back home and celebrate Thanksgiving and Diwali with friends and family with special fares in Economy and Business Class.

Passengers can book tickets starting today until October 28, for travel until April 30, 2019.

US Thanksgiving

Customers travelling to North America can enjoy Economy Class fares to New York starting at Dh4,685 ($1,275.3), Los Angeles starting at Dh5,785 ($1,574.7), Chicago starting at Dh5,215 ($1,419.5) and Dallas starting at Dh5,385 ($1,465.8).

Business Class passengers can enjoy fares to New York starting at Dh20,155 ($5,486.4), Los Angeles starting at Dh25,775 ($7,016.2), to Chicago starting at Dh21,775 ($5,927.3), and to Dallas starting at Dh21,745 ($5,919.2).

From November 22 to 25, Emirates will be offering passengers specially tailored menus to celebrate the holiday. Customers travelling in all classes can enjoy a delicious roasted turkey prepared by award-winning chefs.

First and Business Class passengers can also enjoy pumpkin flavoured cupcakes topped with marzipan served onboard the A380 lounge. Customers can choose from two appetisers including delicious smoked duck salad, served with poached fig, pickled beetroot, green beans and hazelnuts; or a creamy cauliflower soup with turkey rashers and spring onions; and for dessert, a mouthwatering pumpkin tart with whipped cream, caramel fudge and pistachios.

The Thanksgiving menu will be available for customers on all US flights from Dubai. Economy Class passengers flying back to Dubai from the US can indulge in a tasty, roasted turkey served with cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and roasted pumpkin in maple syrup. First and Business Class passengers flying back to Dubai can also enjoy smoked ocean trout with cocktail onions and caper berries; or creamy pumpkin soup with toasted pumpkin seeds and chives.

Diwali

Passengers travelling to India to reunite with relatives for Diwali can also enjoy competitive fares on Economy Class to Mumbai starting at Dh1,205 ($328), Delhi starting at Dh1,265 ($344.3), Hyderabad starting at Dh1,105 ($300.7), and Ahmedabad starting at Dh1,165 ($317.1).

Business Class passengers can enjoy fares to Mumbai starting at Dh3,605 ($981.3), Delhi starting at Dh3,705 ($1,008.5), Hyderabad starting at Dh3,395 ($924.1), and Ahmedabad starting at Dh4,775 ($1,299.8).

Emirates will be offering passengers onboard special Diwali delicacies from November 7 to 10. The special treats will be available for customers in all classes on all flights to India from Dubai.

Customers travelling in all classes can enjoy Motichoor Ladoos on all Indian hot tray meals. The celebratory delicacy is a small flour ball deep fried in ghee and simmered in cardamom and saffron flavoured sugar syrup, decorated with silver leaf and pistachio.

Business and First Class passengers can also enjoy Anjeer Chakkar- a sugar-free sweet, loaded with cashew nuts, almonds raisins, pistachio, walnut, and dried figs presented in a circular form.

Emirates passengers travelling in all classes will benefit from a generous baggage allowance of up to 30kg in Economy Class and 40kg in Business Class. Passengers on the Emirates flight will enjoy the airline’s award-winning in-flight entertainment system with up to 3,500 channels and up to 20MB complimentary onboard wi-fi, as well as regionally inspired meals onboard prepared by award-winning chefs. - TradeArabia News Service
