Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region, is set to open a new hotel in Jeddah next month under its 'Centro by Rotana' brand, a report said.

Centro Salama, which is the second hotel to open in Jeddah and the fifth in the Kingdom, comes as part of the group’s strategic plan to expand in the kingdom’s hospitality market, said a report in Saudi Gazette.

The hotel is located in the heart of Jeddah on Al Madinah Road and is just 15 minutes away from King Abdulaziz International Airport and in close proximity to business districts, shopping malls and entertainment centres.

Online booking is available for stays starting from September 15.

Centro Salama’s opening endorses Rotana’s continuous support for the Kingdom’s tourism sector; acting as a direct and effective contribution towards achieving the goals of the kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030.

In light of forecasts predicting that religious tourism will attract more than 30 million pilgrims by 2030 and that the kingdom’s GDP will witness an increased contribution of SR300 billion ($79.9 billion) from the tourism industry by 2026, Rotana Hotel Management confirms its commitment to assisting with the Saudi economy growth, the report said.
