Marriott International will no longer manage or be otherwise associated with The St Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club from July 1, it has been revealed.

"This is a mutual decision reached amicably with Al Habtoor Group, the owner of the property," said a notice to partners from Marriott.

"Consequently, your contract with the hotel needs to be revisited. Please connect with the hotel management team to discuss future business arrangements," it advised the partners.

The resort located in Dubailand, which opened in March last year, will be known as the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club effective July 1, sources said.

Designed around four lush polo fields, Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club is located just 30 minutes from Dubai International Airport.

The Al Habtoor Polo Club and Academy is located on the grounds of the resort where guests can enjoy riding lessons and pony club activities. The academy will offer a full programme for both adults and children designed to improve skills in show jumping, dressage and polo, with tailored tuition from experienced professionals. - TradeArabia News Service
