Flyadeal, Saudi Arabia’s low fares airline, has signed an agreement with online travel giant Booking.com to provide accommodation reservations through the airline’s website and mobile app, said a report.

The new partnership with Booking.com allows it to offer the largest number of accommodation listings in the world at a 60 per cent discount. In Saudi Arabia alone, Booking.com has more than 3,765 hotel selections across the kingdom, a report in Saudi Gazette said.

The new service is easy to access and simple to use. On the airline's website, customers will find a hotel reservation icon. On clicking the icon, customers will be required to enter the name of the destination city, and the date of arrival and departure. A list of accommodation options will be made available, from which customers can choose their preferred hotel or apartment. Most hotels and apartments can be reserved without paying online — customers can choose to have the convenience of paying directly when checking in. Moreover, depending on property’s policy, most reservations can also be cancelled without a penalty.

Con Korfiatis, CEO of flyadeal, also revealed that the flyadeal team is reviewing car rental and other travel services which will be offered to the airlines’ customers over the coming months, the report said. - TradeArabia News Service
