DUBAI, April 19, 2018
Merging the elegance of Bvlgari design and the flavours and style of Arabia, The Bvlgari Resort Dubai will be forging its way forward as the latest location for the holy month of Ramadan.
As a time to gather with loved ones and create lasting memories with those we hold dear and as such, The Bvlgari Majlis has been designed as a destination to feel like home. Families and friends will gather within the world of Bvlgari, punctuated by its distinctly local touches from its architectural detailing to the soft Arabic melodies, and the sights, tastes and smells of its cuisine.
Design and ambience
An extension of the renowned Il Café, The Bvlgari Majlis will showcase the brand’s elegance while retaining the comfort and ease of this waterside location with the contemporary Italian feel of Bvlgari.
A custom-designed Ramadan moon with the signature Bvlgari mesh pattern will be a quintessential sculptural feature of The Bvlgari Majlis, bringing together the inimitable brand style with one of the most recognisable symbols of this holy month.
As part of the brand’s history, a special exhibition of Bvlgari heritage pieces will be on display to give guests a walk through time of the 130 plus years of the iconic brand and some of its most recognisable creations. Heritage pieces will be flown to Dubai for the Ramadan showcase, displaying quintessential Bvlgari iconic collections and bringing a heritage museum to the property.
With the brand’s history, Bvlgari’s family heart knows only too well the importance of making the most of that precious time, able to seat up to190 guests for both Iftar and Suhour, The Bvlgari Majlis will also offer an intimate VIP section for 12 guests for a more exclusive private dining experience.
Cuisine
With a mix of classical and modern Arabic delights, familiar flavours with magical Bvlgari touches, The Bvlgari Majlis will be a relaxed yet chic location, in its unique destination with views over the world’s first Bvlgari Marina and Yacht Club.
Sumptuous cuisine will be of the utmost importance during this special time. From those archetypal Ramadan dishes such as Ouzi, Shawarma, Umm Ali and an array of eight kinds of dates, to the Italian classics with Gelato, Iftar will ensure guests enjoy a true fusion of classic Italy in Arabia. With a wide range of hot and cold mezzeh, live cooking stations and some innovative modern twists on familiar favourites, it will be all the flavours of this enchanting time, with a magical Bvlgari touch.
Suhour will be no less special; a merging of hot and cold delicacies along with a selection of traditional Arabic pastries using the highest quality ingredients, to satiate those late night desires.
A place to while away the hours late into the night, echoing this generations old tradition, shisha is also available in the tent, where games and togetherness are to be shared and enjoyed.
“As this is our inaugural Ramadan here in Dubai, we wanted this to truly show our commitment to blending the heritage and culture of Italy with the culture and flavours of Dubai, our newest location in the growing Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts portfolio,” said Pep Lozano, General Manager of Bvlgari Resort Dubai.
