Bahrain Premier hails kingdom's tourism efforts

HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa hailed Bahrain’s efforts in developing the kingdom's into a leading tourist destination during the recent inauguration of the Jumeirah Royal Saray Bahrain, said a report.

At the inauguration, the Prime Minister underlined Bahrain’s steady success in developing the tourism sector, earning a marked standing on the regional and international tourism map, said a report in Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

He reiterated the government’s drive to encourage tourism development and provide all facilities which woo the private sector to invest in the vital sector. 

He stressed the importance of expanding tourism facilities and building hotels as part of efforts to diversify the sources of revenues and invest in all potential, including markets, museums, archeological vestiges, resorts and modern shopping outlets, the report said.

Jumeirah Royal Saray Bahrain chief executive officer, Marc Dardenne, expressed deep thanks and gratitude to HRH the Premier for opening the new milestone, hailing his support and the government’s drive to provide all facilities for the project.
