Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay appoints new F&B head
DUBAI, February 27, 2018
Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay has appointed Andrew Vieira as director of food and beverage (F&B) to head the property’s culinary operation.
Highly driven, dynamic, and with a keen eye for detail, Vieira comes with 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having handled a range of F&B management roles in London and the UAE. After starting in his home town London, Vieira moved to the Middle East with Jumeirah Group where he served for six years, followed by a three-year stint with Emaar Hospitality at The Address Downtown.
Prior to joining Steigenberger, Andrew served as F&B manager at The Meydan Hotel for two years, working closely with the leadership team to maximise financial performance, and implement property-wide strategies to put the hotel’s venues on the map.
Vieira’s training and experience has been supplemented with courses in revenue management, as well as food safety and hospitality management. Starting at grass-roots level, Vieira has come to be known as a creative and innovative thinker, displaying a practical approach to problem solving. He is a hands-on manager and a strong team-builder.
