Aircraft Interiors Middle East set for exciting edition

DUBAI, January 16, 2018

Representatives from key local and regional airlines will be in Dubai next week to discover the latest trends in aircraft interiors and network with potential suppliers at Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME).

Among those confirmed to attend are representatives from Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways and Air Arabia, while those coming from further afield include Kenya Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Thai Airways.

As Gulf carriers lead the way in innovations in passenger experience and comfort, the Middle East has become the benchmark for industry innovation. Exhibitors at the two-day event incorporate the whole spectrum of aircraft interiors, ranging from seating and flooring to lighting and galley equipment; with many keen to demonstrate their new technologies to attending airlines.

“With Dubai as the hub for the Middle East aviation business, you meet important Airline representatives and decision makers from the region at AIME,” said Peter Schetschine, chief commercial officer at Kid Systeme, exhibitor at AIME 2017.

A large percentage of the 320 exhibitors attending are new for 2018, as the importance of the region to the industry continues to increase. The aircraft cabin interiors market is projected to reach $29.16 billion by 2021, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.57 per cent, with the Middle East expected to increase its revenue share in this market by 30 per cent.

“Aircraft Interiors Middle East has developed a well deserved reputation for the place to meet the airline decision makers,” said Caryn McConnachie, Aerospace director of show organiser Tarsus F&E Middle East. “Coupled with the industry growth that the region has seen over the years, it makes sense that the show is attracting an increasing number of visitors every year.”

Aircraft Interiors Middle East is co-located with MRO Middle East and takes place January 23-24 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). - TradeArabia News Service
