Flyadeal launches first flight

Flyadeal, the newly established low fare airline in Saudi Arabia, launched its first commercial flight on Saudi National Day, said a report.
The flight took off from Jeddah to Riyadh, where a press conference was held before it returned to Jeddah, said a report in Saudi Press Agency.
The launching ceremony was attended by the chairman of Flyadeal and the director general of Saudi Arabian Airlines, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser.
"Saudi Arabia has launched its Vision 2030; a strategic platform for the future development of the Kingdom where transportation and tourism are key pillars. The launch of flyadeal is core to the strategy to mobilise further the country and the region,” Al Jasser said.
