Dusit Thani Maldives, a luxury resort on Mudhdhoo Island, has appointed Niclas Prokop as its new director of sales and marketing.  

Prokop, a German national, joins the property from his most recent role as chief commercial officer at Azulik Hotel & Maya Spa, Mexico. He brings with him over 24 years of experience working for international tour operators such as Thomas Cook and Dertour, in addition to a number of hotel chains in the Maldives - Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa, Ayada and Kanuhura.

Prokop possesses great leadership skills, a passion for excellence, and a talent for developing high performing teams that deliver excellent business results. In his new role, he will be responsible for fostering relationships with key partners, driving revenue and accomplishing sales and marketing goals.
