Emirates Aviation University marks record number of graduates

Emirates Aviation University recently celebrated the graduation of 187 students at its campus in Dubai Academic City.
This year, the graduating students received their certificates awarded in two ceremonies due to a record number of graduates. The first graduation ceremony honoured Engineering and Post Graduates and the second ceremony honoured Business Graduates and Emirates Group National Recruitment and Development graduates.
Graduates were recognised for their achievements in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group. Sheikh Ahmed attended the ceremony along with VIPs, Emirates Group Management, Emirates Aviation University staff and Coventry University vice-chancellor and staff, in addition to a number of government representatives, family and friends.
“Today marks a very special day for our esteemed graduates, who have undertaken a huge commitment to successfully complete their chosen specialised field of study,” saidSheikh Ahmed. “I would also like to extend a special word of congratulations to our UAE national employees,” he added.
"EAU offers outstanding educational programmes that allow students to develop their creative, analytical, communication and critical thinking skills in a collaborative, nurturing environment that promotes lifelong learning and contributes to success in their professional careers,” said Dr. Ahmed Al Ali, Chancellor of Emirates Aviation University.
“We are extremely pleased with our achievements over the years. Today we graduate the first batch of Emirates Group National Recruitment and Development employees who completed an applied bachelor’s programme in air transport management. They will join the group and be part of the Emirates success story,” added Dr. Ahmad.
EAU now has a pool of nearly 17,000 graduates. The university recently announced scholarships against its tuition fees for all prospective students pursuing foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes. The scholarships are effective immediately and are valid for registration by May 31, 2017. - TradeArabia News Service
