Drager named GM of Shangri-La Al Husn Resort

MUSCAT, May 5, 2017

Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa in Oman, which is set to reopen as a standalone resort in October this year, has welcomed Milan Drager as its newly appointed general manager.

Drager is no stranger to the Shangri-La Hotels group, having started his career with the hospitality company in 2011 as a executive assistant manager at the Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo in Japan. He then took up the role of senior corporate executive at Sule Shangri-La, Yangon in Myanmar in 2013 before moving to Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, Australia as its resident manager in 2014.

In his new role at Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa, Drager will oversee the transition and lead the repositioning of Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa.

“For over 10 years, Shangri-La Al Husn has delighted international guests with its refined luxury offering. The team has done a remarkable job bringing this unique hotel to the forefront of tourism in Oman,” said Drager. “I look forward to continuing this legacy while further positioning Shangri-La Al Husn as Muscat’s premier destination resort for travellers seeking a sophisticated holiday experience.” - TradeArabia News Service
