R Hotels to debut two new properties at ATM 2017

DUBAI, April 18, 2017

The latest addition to R Hotels’ growing portfolio, The Retreat Palm Dubai, MGallery by Sofitel and Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche will mark their inaugural participation at this year’s Arabian Travel Market.

The 255-key The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel is slated to open in summer 2017, and will be one of the first MGallery by Sofitel brand to operate in the region. Located at the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the property will be the first holistic health and wellness resort in the UAE, with all-inclusive retreat packages, spa, fitness, and recreation facilities, lifestyle consultants and coaches, specialty restaurants, and more wellness-related services.  

The first Wyndham Garden hotel in the UAE, Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche is expected to open in the last quarter of 2017. The four-star hotel will feature a total of 179 rooms and suites, an executive lounge on the top floor with panoramic sea views, two restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool, gym and spa, separate health clubs for men and women, and a kids’ play area.  

Sumair Tariq, managing director, R Hotels, said: “2017 is a busy year for R Hotels with the launch of our two new hotels. The Retreat Palm Dubai, MGallery by Sofitel will cater to the growing global demand for spa and wellness tourism, which is also one of the highlights of this year’s ATM. Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche is set to accommodate the rising number of visitors in the emirate, and to boost our presence in the Northern Emirates with the largest room inventory in Ajman.”  
Located at HC0425 of the hotel pavilion, the R Hotels stand will also showcase all of its five properties in the UAE namely Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman, Ramada Downtown Dubai, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham JBR and ibis Styles Dubai Jumeira.

He added: “On top of the new openings, the group continuously seeks to strengthen its presence in the GCC region, and keep an eye on new and emerging markets.
