Chammaa and Frare join Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai

New senior appointments at Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai

DUBAI, April 3, 2017

Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai has welcomed newly appointed resident manager, Nicolas Chammaa and director of communications, Marco Frare to the executive team.

Chammaa, a Lebanese national, joins Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai from Makati Shangri-La, Manila where he also held the position of resident manager. With a background in food and beverage as well as senior hotel operations, Chammaa has worked within the Shangri-La group for over 10 years.

He will be responsible for the hotel’s 492 hotel rooms, serviced apartments and private residences.

Frare, an Italian national, joins from Palazzo Versace, Dubai where he held the position of director of marketing and communications. With a deep understanding of hospitality marketing and communications, Frare has also held positions at InterContinental Dubai Festival City, Armani Hotel Milan and Burj Al Arab.

Frare will be responsible for all marketing and communications initiatives throughout the hotel including the upcoming launch of renovated rooms, agency relationships and guest communications.
