Stargazing at Al Wadi Desert during Earth Hour

RAS AL KHAIMAH, March 22, 2017

Al Wadi Desert, Ras Al Khaimah, a Ritz-Carlton partner hotel, has invited guests to celebrate the Earth Hour with a stargazing activity, while the resort switches off non-essential lights.

The vent will be held on March 25 between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm.

Families will enjoy the initiation to astronomy taking place on the resort’s dedicated stargazing platform.

Environment responsibility is a key pillar of the Community Footprints programme, the company’s social and environmental responsibility programme embraced by Ritz-Carlton properties around the world, a statement said.

Celebrated since 2008 in the UAE, the Earth Hour initiative is founded by World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) to raise awareness on sustainability issues on the planet and gives everyone the opportunity to show their commitment to the planet.  - TradeArabia News Service
